An exciting 3-event program with “Den Kreative Forretning” designed to empower individuals in the creative industry.
The Creative Business-program is designed to empower individuals in the creative industry by equipping them with the essential skills and insights needed to thrive in their entrepreneurial ventures. Whether you’re an artist, designer, writer, or any other creative professional, this series will help you chart a path towards success and sustainability in your creative pursuits.
The program consists of three workshops in total, each focusing on different aspects of creative entrepreneurship. Through these workshops, participants will gain valuable knowledge in areas such as business strategy, marketing, financial planning, and more. The hands-on nature of the workshops will allow you to apply what you learn directly to your own creative endeavors.
Arsenalet will serve coffee, tea and lunch which is included.

Workshop 1: Generate interest for your creative business through Social Media.
Date February 26. from 10.00 – 15.00
The purpose of this workshop is to provide creative entrepreneurs with insights into how to create a brand on social media.
Participants will gain inspiration on how platforms like Instagram can be used to communicate about their work and showcase specific projects.
Goal
– Guidance on approaching your social media work strategically
– Overview of how to find a consistent theme in your social media profile
– Concrete assistance for crafting a strong presentation/bio
This workshop will be in taught in Danish the material will be available in english.

Workshop 2: Get the recognition your projects and creative business deserve.
Date: March 14. from 10.00-15.00
The purpose of this workshop is to provide creative entrepreneurs with tangible tools to garner attention for their projects and businesses in relevant media, thereby building recognition within the industry and attracting new customers and/or audiences
Goal
– Overview of how to identify relevant media outlets.
– Checklist for crafting a press release.
– Get started with a communication plan for an upcoming project/exhibition/publication
This workshop will be in taught in Danish the material will be available in english.

Workshop 3: Seek out new projects, tasks, and partnerships.
Date: April 12. from 10.00-15.00
The purpose of this workshop is to provide artists and creative entrepreneurs with tangible tools to identify and seek out networks and collaborators that can ultimately lead to more customers, projects, and opportunities.
Goal
– Mapping of networks and potential customers and/or collaborators.
– A strategy for seeking out new projects, customers, and collaborators.
– A checklist for the first (often a bit challenging) email, phone call, and/or meeting.
Teacher: Signe Sylvester.
Each workshop consists of a mix of:
- Academic presentations from “Den Kreative Forretning”.
- Exercises, with guiding questions, models and associated theory
- Discussion groups where participants can share experiences, knowledge and support each other in theirs
learning. - Gathering at the start and end of each workshop, to ensure a common thread.
In addition, it is possible to offer all participants a workbook containing exercises, models and theory from where the overall process is described, so that they can continue to work on their own, and secure knowledge if there should be a single workshop they cannot participate in. (This is an additional purchase).
