Pitching For Life – A matchmaking program for game developers / Aarhus

We know you and your team work on great ideas – but do you know how to sell them, and who you should work with to take the product to the market?

The Pitching for Life-program is a series of events that aim to help you develop your ideas and match you with the right partners to bring them to life. You dedicate your company for two events by joining this program.

  • Pitching for Life workshop: in Copenhagen on April 9.  // in Aarhus on April 10.
  • Copenhagen MatchUp 2024 on April 29. – 30. in Copenhagen

Pitching for Life workshop
First up is our Pitching for Life workshop, led by Walid O. El Cheikh. A dynamic and fun workshop with emphasis on the idea you present, and “how” versus what to do or not do when presenting. It will challenge your idea and offer sparring and feedback from a crowd of games industry colleagues and experts.

We start the workshop with an introduction to ‘Pitching for Life’ as a mindset and methodology, continue to create the content of your presentation focusing on proper argumentation and concise sentences, and finally we do several in-class exercises.

At the workshop you will also get an introduction by funding consultant, Søren Lass, to the business and investor profiles you can expect to meet at our next event in the program; Copenhagen MatchUp 2024. As well as an overview of the current market situation facing game developers seeking funding and what this means for their business development and pitching efforts.

Copenhagen MatchUp 2024 / Pitching for Life matchmaking
Two weeks later, on April 29. – 30., you will get to meet and pitch your idea to potential business partners, who can help you realize and elevate your game at Copenhagen MatchUp. Copenhagen MatchUp is Denmark’s premier games industry matchmaking event. Pairing investors and publishers from across the World with Danish game developers both online and on-site in Copenhagen.
