Seminar: Sustainability in film and television production – Aarhus

How does your company get off to a good start in producing greener? Or get better at it? Where should you start, what are the options and where can you get help? We will do our best to answer these and many more questions when Vision Denmark and Filmby Aarhus host:

Seminar on sustainable film and television production on 26 April at 14.00-16.00

Climate and sustainability are no longer buzzwords, but increasingly something we all have to deal with – and the film and TV industry is no exception.

Within a few years, the industry may be required to submit green audits in order to obtain support from e.g. The Film Institute and the regional film funds or to be able to enter into collaborations with Danish and international broadcasters. Consumers and buyers are also beginning to have the sustainability aspect in mind when choosing and buying content. So it’s time to talk about how we best work together on a sustainable agenda.

The seminar will be held in DABBA Kanteen in Filmby Aarhus – program will be announced later.

The seminar is organized by Filmby Aarhus in collaboration with Vision Denmark and the West Danish Film Fund with support from the Danish Ministry of Business and Trade.

Under the project Sustainable Film and TV Production, Vision Denmark works to reduce the environmental impact of the film and TV industry. Among other things, this has resulted in a GREEN FILM handbook with advice and a guide to more climate-friendly production as well as a points system that enables productions to become certified GREEN.
